While the Berghoff has been owned and operated entirely by the Berghoff Family for over 100 years, they are not the only family tied to the establishment.

Dozens of staff members have been working for The Berghoff for multiple generations, not to mention the generations of diners who have celebrated milestones and togetherness within the walls of The Berghoff.

This loyalty acknowledges excellent leadership and care credited to third-generation owners and operators Herman and Jan Berghoff. The Berghoff today is now operated by their son Pete Berghoff. The Berghoff’s longevity is a testament to its excellence and the true epitome of The American Dream.

Interested in joining our corporate family? We accept applications on-site, Monday through Wednesday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the 17 W. Adams location. You may submit a completed application to the host stand.
