I searched the site and couldn't find it: Before the original closing you used to serve sauerbraten sandwiches at the carvery on Thursdays, I believe

I'm so glad the Sauerbraten Sandwiches left such an impression on you, it is truly a Berfhoff Classic! I have good news for you...while we don't serve Sauerbraten in the form of a sandwich we do serve the meat as an entree on the menu at the Restaurant for both lunch and dinner, as well as daily in the Cafe for lunch.
The recipe for Sauerbraten can be found in The Berghoff Family Cookbook as well as on our website. Next time you are in the Restaurant please say hello, and I encourage you to try making it at home as well. Enjoy!
