Homemade Holiday Gifts: Dry Pancake Mix

Believe it or not, but Christmas is just over two weeks away. The pressure to find the perfect gift for friends and family is something that’s been weighing on my mind. Rather than letting the stress weigh on my wallet, this holiday season I’ve decided to give homemade gifts that are creative, unique, and something my friends and family can really enjoy. The best part is, the gifts come from my own kitchen, are made with love, and truly show how much the recipients mean to me.
I thought I’d share a different gift idea with you each week leading up to Christmas. We’ll start off with my favorite one: a family tradition and favorite...Dry Pancake Mix. The Berghoff Family’s Bavarian Apple Pancake dry mix is the perfect recipe for that person who finds themselves serving brunch during the holidays. In my own kitchen, we love to serve brunch any time of the day year round. However pancakes are one of those delicious dishes that are perfect for this time of the year. Simply measure out all the dry ingredients and place them into a festive jar. I like to attach the recipe to the jar on a small recipe card with some holiday themed ribbon.
