Entertaining...Halloween Style
Thursday, Oct 27, 2011
I woke up this morning and thought, Halloween must be right around the corner. It was rainy, the temperature had dropped fairly drastically from earlier in the week (the classic trick-or-treat weather), and my children were rummaging around in the linen closet…looking for the perfect pillow case candy bag.
If there’s one thing I love about a holiday, it’s that it gives me the perfect excuse to entertain. Entertaining (especially in your own home) is something you should have fun with. It’s an opportunity to involve the whole family and really get creative. What better holiday then Halloween to do these things and really have some fun in the kitchen?
The decorations have been done, the costumes have been chosen, all that’s left is the menu. For our Halloween menu this year, I’ve chosen to combine some of my fall favorites with spooky Halloween themed dishes.
