Dominick’s Store Opening

The last week I was able to partake in the Dominick’s VIP Party prior to the opening their store in West Ridge at 623 N. Damen on Wednesday, August 12th from 4-7:30pm. All the proceeds from the store went to Misericordia. Misericordia is a Home to over 550 children and adults with developmental disabilities, some physically involved as well.I was asked to host a cooking segment as their featured Chef it was a wonderful experience. In the cooking demonstration I taught the audience members how to make some recipes from my new cookbook, “The Berghoff Café Cookbook” (debuting at the Berghoff Oktoberfest September 16th!).
I made the Berghoff Spaetzle and the Berghoff Shrimp Salad, both recipes can go with so many different food items and be made varies ways.
